Rotary Position Sensor

Bourns’ AMS22U analog rotary position sensor is a non-contacting single-turn rotary sensor with dual ball bearings. The robust device is designed for use in heavy-duty applications requiring long cycle life and high reliability and offers a rotational life of up to 100 million cycles. Features of the RoHS-compliant Model AMS22U sensor include non-contacting magnetic technology, vibration/shock and fluid/dust ingress resistance, repeatability, and pneumatic control valve position feedback. Programmable at factory for zero position, the sensor offers camera and rudder positioning and actuator motor as well as tilt control and tilt positioning feedback. Foot pedal, steering, lift-and-shuttle, and suspension systems also are available, and operating temperature range is -40 to +125°C (-40 to +257°F).
