Rotary Speed Sensor

The new RR25 rotary speed sensor from Dynapar, which targets agricultural applications in the off-highway vehicle market, uses proven Hall-IC technology to provide reliable service in demanding environments where contaminants, corrosive chemicals, and high vibration are commonplace. The patent-pending sensor starts with a ball bearing-less design and encapsulated electronics to produce a reliable signal in wet and dirty conditions. The housing material was chosen to be compatible with contaminants commonly present in the Ag environment, such as fertilizer, diesel fuel, and hydraulic fluid. Few fasteners and limited component count make the design rugged, simple, and easier to produce, helping to keep manufacturing costs down. As with other new Dynapar products, the new sensor is RoHS- and CE-compliant for global use. The RR25 is built to order and immediately available for the general market.
