Vertical Connectors

Molex's a vertical configuration version of its DuraClik 2-mm (0.08-in) pitch wire-to-board connector was designed for various space and installation needs with onboard instrumentation, including steering wheels, shift levers, wiper/blinker levers, headlights, inverters, and air conditioners on trucks, cranes, and other high-vibration applications. Resilient DuraClik connectors feature an enclosed shock- and dust-proof design with wide solder tabs, inner-positive lock mechanism for space savings to prevent latch breakage from wire tangling, and PCB retention for secure mating in rugged environments. Offered in 2- to 12-circuit sizes, connectors feature vertical-mounted receptacles in the direction of the headers for harness installation in space-constrained environments. They can withstand an upward pull force of 100 N (22.5 lb) for high vibration applications; maximum operating temperature is 105°C (221°F).
