Heavy-Duty Connectors

Amphenol Industrial Products has improved its 9-way AT circular series receptacle line by adding a smaller flanged model suitable for heavy-duty equipment. Used as a diagnostic connector in demanding applications on construction and farm equipment and heavy-duty trucks, the round ATC-09-9-1939PN meets SAE J1939 and includes strain relief for the back unit wires and a wave spring for high vibration applications. Jam nut mounting speeds assembly, while a smaller flange saves space on mating panels. Other features include corrosion resistance, environmental sealing against moisture and contaminants, and water resistance up to 3 ft (0.9 m). A reverse bayonet coupling design is available. RoHS-compliant copper alloy connectors work with size 16 contacts, withstand more than 100 mating cycles, and operate from -55 to +125°C (-67 to +257°F).
