Thermoplastic Connectors

Amphenol improves its AT Series circular (ATC) thermoplastic connectors by incorporating AT contact technology. These upgraded connectors mate with a positive reverse bayonet retention system for quick mating and unmating and can withstand current up to 13 A. Rated from -55 to +125°C (-67 to +257°F), Amphenol’s ATC connectors are suitable for communication and diagnostic testing in heavy-duty trucks, buses, construction, and agricultural equipment. The drop-in replacements to existing panel designs are water-resistant to 3 ft (0.9 m) and are available in 3-, 5- and 9-way receptacles. RoHs-compliant, heavy-duty industrial ATC connectors feature size-16 machined contacts, copper alloy construction in both nickel and gold plating, corrosion resistance, environmental sealing against moisture and contaminants, and durability to 100 mating cycles to decrease installation costs and improve reliability.
