SAE International’s Next Meetup Rounds up Altran Automotive and Motus Ventures to Discuss Validation of Autonomous Systems
This discussion will also serve as a Q&A session for those interested in new autonomous vehicle ventures.

SAE International ’s next Innovations in Mobility Meetup will be on June 18 at Prospect Silicon Valley (ProspectSV) in San Jose, California. The Meetup, which kick off at 6:30pm, will focus on the validation of advanced autonomous and assistance systems. The event will feature presentations by Ralf Nikolaus, technical unit manager at Altran Automotive , and Robert Seidl, managing director of Motus Ventures .
Nikolaus will discuss validating next generation Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and SAE Level 3+ autonomous driving on a global scale, while Seidl will speak to the “80/20 Rule” of new ventures and products: why many fail at the last mile and how to avoid making the same mistake. Participant are welcome to share advice and ask questions regarding starting new automated vehicle (AV) technology ventures.
