Compact Engines

Deutz offers an engine range for mobile work equipment in the EPA Tier 4 emissions category, featuring compact dimensions for tight installations. The 55.4-kW (74.2-hp), 300-N·m (221-lb·ft) TCD 2.9 L4 engine features a cooled external downstream filter and high-pressure common rail system to improve power while reducing emissions. The turbocharged four-cylinder TCD 3.6 L4 series covers up to 90 kW (120 hp) with 480 N·m (354 lb·ft) and allows 100% power take-off on the flywheel and front side. The TCD 7.8 L6 six-cylinder inline offers 250 kW (335 hp) and 1400 N·m (1033 lb·ft) for the medium-power class, and the six-cylinder TCD 12.0 V6 features 2130 N·m (1571 lb·ft) and 390 kW (523 hp). The DVERT module offers a maintenance-free concept for applications below 56 kW (75 hp).
