Tier 4 Diesels

Isuzu Diesel is introducing a complete line of Tier 4 diesel engines, including the 4LE2 (shown) and 4JJ1, for industrial and commercial applications at ConExpo 2014 in Las Vegas. With outputs from 15 hp (11 kW) to more than 500 hp (373 kW), the Tier 4 production engines can be customized to the customer’s exact requirements. The engine designs have been praised by customers for the compactness of their Tier 4 envelope, the company claims. Isuzu Diesel engines feature technological advancements offering a range of EPA-compliant Interim Tier 4 products, from EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) and highly optimized performance calibrations, to components of Isuzu Clean Air Solutions. Along with its turbocharged, common-rail fuel system, reduced cost of ownership and low fuel consumption are provided with a clean-design exhaust system in a compact package.
