Thin-Film Chip Resistors
Vishay Intertechnology’s PTN series precision, surface-mount, thin-film chip resistors in the 2512 case size offer a power rating to 2 W. The devices combine moisture-resistant tantalum nitride film with low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of ±25 ppm/°C and tolerances down to ±1%. The devices operate over the range from -55° to +125°C. The resistive film assures a moisture-resistance level that exceeds MIL-PRF-55342 limits. This makes the devices suitable for use in low-noise, high-precision control systems where moisture may be a concern. The series is offered in 13 case sizes from 0402 to 2512 and provides a range of resistance values from 10Ω to 3MΩ, with nonstandard values available.
