Fiat Chrysler Names New Quality Chief
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles on Oct. 28 named Mark Chernoby (SAE member, 2003) Head of Quality. He continues his current responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer Product Development, a post to which he was named in August 2014. Among his previous positions at Chrysler Group was Senior Vice President of Engineering. He joined Chrysler in 1985 as a powertrain engineer. Chernoby replaces Doug Betts, who left the company to pursue other interests. In a separate announcement Oct. 28, Chrysler Group announced that Matthew Liddane has been appointed Head of Quality, North America. He previously was Vice President–Systems and Components, Chrysler Group.
