Microwave Switch Platform

The EX71HD microwave switching platform from VTI Instruments (Irvine, CA) addresses applications that require non-latching relays and an operating range of up to 26.5 GHz. The switch can house up to 12 building blocks, including dual SPDTs, SP4Ts, SP6Ts, transfer switches, and a 6-line pass-through adapter, in a single 1U rack LXI Class A enclosure. Other features include front “pluggable” relays to facilitate field maintenance, an embedded Web interface that monitors relays, a flexible API that supports IVI and Linux development environments, and storage for up to 128 relay state configurations.
