Telemetry Encoder
Mistral Solutions (Dallas, TX) offers the PCM telemetry encoder, a fully configurable Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) onboard system for analyzing flight parameters in airborne applications. The system is designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions and is AMC PPC405-based. It is comprised of a data acquisition system, a conversion system, a frame-processing FPGA, and a PCM output section. It supports multiplexed sampling of 64 analog channels and conforms to IRIG 106 Standard for PCM frame encoding.
The system features a MIL-STD-1553 monitor/remote terminal with a dual-redundant bus interface to monitor and capture onboard 1553 bus transactions. The MIL-grade aluminum enclosure measures 140 × 110 × 115 mm. The system has an operating temperature range of -40 to 70°C.
