Global EDI System Designed for ERP

Infor Automotive Exchange from Infor is an electronic data interchange (EDI) and release accounting system designed specifically for automotive tier suppliers. It works directly with Infor SyteLine, Infor’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) product, which focuses on high volume manufacturers such as tier automotive suppliers. According to the company, Infor Automotive Exchange helps enable tier suppliers to quickly and efficiently communicate order demand, shipment, and labeling information with their OEM customers using Infor SyteLine as the core ERP. The combination of Automotive Exchange with SyteLine establishes an automotive industry product suite that provides exceptional connectivity, capabilities, and user experience, claims the company. The product suite supports many of the global automotive EDI requirements commonly used by OEM and tier suppliers with preconfigured and ready-to-use transformation services (TFS), translation maps and transformation via sales release management (SRM) business rule controls.
