New China Tech Center Is TRW's Largest Worldwide
At 66,000 m² (710,000 ft²), TRW's new technical center in Anting, China, is the company's largest worldwide. The facility has been designed and built to house more than 20 scientific testing labs supporting all of TRW's main business areas including braking; steering and suspension; occupant safety; and safety electronics. It will employ more than 1200, including engineering, research, and technical staff. The Anting Technical Center will also house R&D; engineering design & application; and testing & validation activities, as well as provide customers with direct access to technical and commercial services.
