Strut Integrated Isolator

For fuselage-mounted equipment, ITT’s strut integrated isolator technology incorporates a fail-safe elastomeric cartridge directly in a strut, eliminating the need for separate elastomeric mounts. The isolator cartridge can be placed in each leg of a multi-leg assembly to control system dynamics. This solution delivers on performance, simplicity, and weight while giving OEMs the flexibility to reduce the maintenance needs of their equipment installations. The firm also has developed several expanded technologies including laminate planar mounts that offer a high load capacity in a small package for vibration isolation on helicopter power transmissions and engine mounts.
