Ceramic Capacitors

API Technologies Corp. (Orlando, FL) has added MIL-grade SMPS ceramic capacitors to its Spectrum Control product line. The high-speed switch mode power supply (SMPS) capacitors feature low equivalent series resistance (ESR) and equivalent series inductance (ESL), as well as predictable performance characteristics with changes in temperature, voltage, and frequency. Ceramic SMPS capacitors are designed for continuous operation at full-rated voltage across their entire temperature range. They are maintenance-free and non-toxic.
