Cadillac Reveals Vistiq EV for 2026 Model Year

Three-row luxury SUV will be between the Lyriq and Escalade in size and price.

Cadillac continued its rapid rollout of future EVs today, announcing the 2026 Vistiq, a three-row SUV the company said is designed for families.

In size and, presumably, pricing, the Vistiq will sit in between the $60,000 Lyriq, Cadillac’s first-ever EV, and the $130,000 Escalade IQ. It is the third EV Cadillac has announced this year, with the company already unveiling the full-size Escalade IQ and the entry-level Optiq, which the company said will arrive for the 2025 model year.

In a news release, John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac, said announcing the Vistiq reiterates Cadillac’s commitment to an electric future. “Our brand now has an EV entry in most luxury segments,” he said, “offering customers a range of choices, and Cadillac EVs will cover most luxury SUV segments in the next two years.”

Officials said more information on the Vestiq and Optiq will be revealed in 2024. When it was announced in November, the only hint of detail on the Optiq was the statement that it would appeal to “global luxury customers with its spirited driving dynamics.” It is expected to be based on GM’s Ultium EV architecture and battery system.

Currently using the Ultium platform are Chevy’s Blazer and Silverado EVs and the GMC Hummer EV. Honda uses the Ultium platform for the Prologue SUV and the Acura ZDX.
