Volkswagen Group of America Names New EVP of Group Quality
Volkswagen Group of America has named Stefan Schüller as its new Executive Vice President of Group Quality, effective July 1. In his new role, Schüller will oversee vehicle quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction efforts in the United States for both Volkswagen and Audi. Schüller has over 20 years of both technical and leadership experience with the Volkswagen Group. Most recently, he served as Head of Product Safety and Product Reliability with Audi AG and Head of Product Readiness/Procurement with Audi AG. Schüller earned a master's and bachelor's in mechanical engineering from the University of Hannover. Schüller replaces Marc Trahan, who is retiring after 35 years with the Volkswagen Group. Trahan’s leadership saw a reduction in vehicle warranty claims by 54% since 2010.
