According to the company, its T/CCI clutches are designed to last twice as long as other clutches in the industry—up to two million cycles. The 7H can operate with lower oil consumption and circulations, resulting in reduced clutch wear. Similar products have been designed for the automotive market, but there was not an effective heavy-duty solution available, so T/CCI, with the ability to design and manufacture a high-quality product at a low price point, stepped in to meet market demand. The 7H has become the fastest growing product line at T/CCI. As the technology continues to evolve, the line is being expanded to larger applications including school buses.
