Fan Controller Family

High Country Tek, Inc. (HCT), a Sun Hydraulics company, has expanded its range of variable speed fan controllers for the on- and off-highway markets with the recent additions of the EMC and EMC-6. These controllers offer a drop-in solution for improved emissions and fuel savings while decreasing weight and noise levels. The EMC can control a single electric fan (EFAN) bank with up to 20 EFAN’s if wired in parallel. The EMC-6 hybrid controller allows independent control of five EFAN banks and one hydraulic fan or a sixth EFAN bank. Both offer SAE J1939 programmable messages, bi-directional control, fan diagnostic inputs, additional thermistor inputs, USB to PC communication, and easy-to-use free GUI software. These CE-certified controllers are fully potted and flame proof, are rated from -40 to +185°F (-40 to +85°C), and designed to integrate with 12- or 24-V dc brushless variable speed fans.
