Versatile Transmission

Oerlikon Drive Systems features its Graziano PST forklift transmission on the Dengelift SD5804 airport transfer vehicle. The SD5804 is capable of lifting a 1000 kg (2205 lb) payload to 5.8 m (19 ft) when stationary. The transmission is offered in two configurations with various ratings; the PST2 twin-forward reverse speed unit suits trucks up to 8 ton (7.3 t) capacity and up to 60,000 N (13,500 lb) drawbar pull, while a single speed forward/reverse PST1 is supplied for up to 4 ton (3.6 t) and 25,000 N (5620 lb) pull. Both are suitable for engine speeds of 2800 rpm, ground speeds up to 25 km/h (15.5 mph), and offer an optional power take off with a choice of output flanges. Products are suitable for applications such as trenchers, cranes, and railway service equipment.
