In-Dash Multimedia and Navigation System
Clarion Corp. of America’s NX604 Double DIN cloud-connected in-dash multimedia and navigation system is the latest in the company’s advanced lineup of cloud-connected systems. According to the company, the NX604 debuts an industry-first feature called Intelligent VOICE powered by Google that allows for naturally spoken sentences to be recognized without the need to remember and use unintuitive voice commands. With Intelligent VOICE, users can simply say conversational sentences such as “I’m in the mood for waffles” and the NX604 will understand and recommend a selection of restaurants serving waffles. Taking advantage of Clarion’s exclusive Smart Access cloud-connectivity platform, the NX604 users can also connect their Android and iOS smartphones to the system and use their favorite apps inside the vehicle with minimal distraction thanks to the streamlined, car-optimized interface. The NX604 also includes a built-in DVD/CD player, a 6.2-in WVGA touch screen, full USB connectivity, HD Radio, Bluetooth, and is satellite radio ready.
