Industrial CT Scanning

To control quality of parts during the manufacturing process, JG&A Metrology Center offers industrial CT scanning focused on 3-D internal part inspection services using industrial computed tomography equipment. Industrial CT technology is suitable for automotive castings, fuel injectors, parts, and assemblies of diameter 14 to 32 in (356 to 813 mm). The internal dimensional and 3-D capability improves the inspection process for porosity, inclusions, and geometry, and reduces the number of uncertainties before production starts. Specific for part-to-CAD and part-to-part comparisons, reverse engineering, wall thickness, fiber analysis, and various X-rays, CT technology offers improved accuracy, efficiency, and reduced turnaround times. It will be on display at the SAE 2014 World Congress April 8-10 in Detroit. (Booth 428)
