Cable Connectors

The Times Advantage™ connector line from Times Microwave Systems (Wallingford, CT) has been extended to include four new type-716 DIN straight and right-angle EZ no-solder connectors for LMR-400 and LMR-600 cables. None of the products require soldering on the center conductor, and all but the EZ-600-716F connector call for braid trimming after cable preparations. Each connector features a combination hex/knurl coupling nut, tri-metal plating, a chamfered cable entry hole for ease of termination, a ridged easy-to-grip landing area on the aft end, weather sealing of the heat shrink boot, and enhanced impedance matching to provide high VSWR performance.
