AC-to-DC Converter
C Systems (Setauket, NY) offers the BC-751, an 800W AC-to-DC converter with eight outputs to provide power for solid-state RF amplifiers in airborne Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) applications. The converter accepts a three-phase 155VAC, 400 Hz input with a power factor of at least 0.88, and maximum inrush current of less than 13A. It provides eight outputs, 3.3VDC at 45A, and 5VDC at 40A. It provides protection for over-current, over-voltage, and over-temperature conditions, and operates over a temperature range of -40 to 85 °C. The converter measures 8.51 × 8.43 × 3.69" and weighs less than 12 pounds.
