Eberspaecher Climate Control Systems formed a joint venture with Zeliox last year and began offering mobile power-supply products for utility and off-highway vehicles in Europe from April 2025. North America is next up. Eberspaecher is introducing the new Zeliox NEO 3600 energy management system at CONEXPO 2026 in Las Vegas (Booth S-82919 on the second level of South Hall).

The “all-in-one” energy storage systems for retrofit are permanently installed in the vehicle and serve as a mobile power source for a range of applications. Eberspächer Zeliox says that system installation and integration into the existing vehicle electrical system takes just a few hours. The Zeliox NEO 3600 can support the operation of power tools on construction sites, the charging of equipment batteries, and the use of electronic devices during mobile service operations.

The new unit can also power thermal management applications such as Eberspaecher’s Breezonic and E-Airtronic. Breezonic is a rooftop climate control system that offers cooling and heating via a heat pump. Available in 13,500- or 15,000-BTU/h versions, Breezonic’s inverter compressor allows intelligent control that automatically adapts the speed of operation to the cooling or heating requirements. E-Airtronic is a modular electric heater featuring a variable-speed fan and a PTC resistor with thermal switch protection.

“This is a further step in our aim to offer our customers complete thermal management including the necessary energy as a system supplier,” said Steffen Such, executive vice president, Eberspaecher. “With our global service and sales network, we are a strong partner when it comes to a quick market launch and the corresponding scaling.”

The energy storage systems are available from 0.65 kWh (50 Ah) to 2.6 kWh (200 Ah), and capacity can be expanded by adding extra lithium battery modules if required. The Zeliox NEO 4000, for example, offers an output of up to 4,000 watts continuous (8,000 watts peak).

Zeliox NEO 3600 can be charged via the vehicle’s generator thanks to the DC/DC charging booster. As an alternative energy source, shore power or solar panels can be used in combination with the integrated charge controller (MPPT) to ensure the power supply regardless of location.

Eberspaecher Zeliox’s units can be charged via an external power source in 1.5 hours or by the vehicle’s alternator in 3.5 hours. A photovoltaic panel and the fully integrated inverter can charge the batteries in 4.5 hours.

Based on 48-volt technology, thinner cables and lighter battery packs are employed for the Zeliox NEO 3600 to transmit more energy with lower losses, making the system suitable for powering energy-intensive onboard devices. It can be combined with 12-, 24-, 48- or 230-volt solutions.

A Zeliox Control Module can be added to serve as a connection box. It is directly connected to the battery and divides the current into six individually programmable channels, allowing tools, work lights or battery charging stations to be selected individually.

System information is provided directly on the device via an integrated high-resolution color display. It is supplemented by app-based control via Bluetooth. New for this model is an integrated 4G connection for remote access. The app provides real-time battery status, power consumption and system alerts.
