Rugged Computer with Heated Touchscreen
Glacier Computer (New Milford, CT) offers a heated touchscreen for its Everest line of computers. The heated touchscreen enables the computer to be used in harsh environments in which the computer goes from freezing to ambient environments and back again. The computer comes with either a 10.4 or 12.1" color LCD and touchscreen, and uses Intel processors, industrial hard drives, integrated 802.11 wireless, and multiple I/O for connection to an array of peripherals. An internal 10-60 VDC power supply allows for connecting onto 12 VDC over-the-road vehicles. Solid-state hard drives offer protection against shock, vibration, and temperature extremes.
