CMOS Image Sensor
The TriWave™ germanium-enhanced CMOS image sensor from NoblePeak Vision (Wakefield, MA) has sensitivity over the visible to shortwave infrared (SWIR) range of the electromagnet spectrum. Users can capture visual images in zero light. The imager has a pixel size of 10 × 10μ, and allows camera manufacturers to integrate TriWave- based camera cores into their standard camera enclosures using small glass optics.
