Ballistic Protection System
The Rapid Armor Shelter System® from FY Composites (Nokia, Finland) is a modular ballistic protection system. The military-certified, lightweight fortification wall system can be used to protect fast-moving troops. The walls can be built and dismantled in a matter of minutes, allowing troops to be protected even during short operations. The panels protect troops from fragments; for bullet protection, a multipanel system with a sand filling can be used.
Two basic shapes, squares and triangles, are equipped with quick-coupling devices and support legs that enable the construction of a large number of combinations. All components withstand UV radiation, fuel and oil spatters, and ambient temperatures from -40 to 60°C. The panels do not absorb moisture.
