Calibration Analysis Software

XCal-View software from Renishaw offers improved functionality and flexibility for laser calibration data analysis. XCal-View is compatible with Renishaw’s ML10, XL-80, and XR20-W rotary axis laser calibration systems. A simplified interface allows users to select, edit, format, and manage captured data in various graph formats. An upgraded generic error compensation function allows assessment of machine errors and creation of linear compensation files, and the compare function with a graphical display of expected compensated performance overlays multiple data sets on the same screen. A zero-point shifting function can offset data, useful for error compensation of rotary axes. Graphs, statistics, and data are transferable to various file formats including Excel and PDF. The software supports linear, angular, straightness, squareness, linear parallelism, and angular parallelism measurements.
