Atego Vantage is an integrated solution combining model-based systems and software engineering (MBSE) with asset-based modular design. These combined approaches as model-based product line engineering (MB-PLE) can reduce development costs and improve project development time. MBSE, the core process, is used to design and build common areas. The Vantage solution also includes Atego Perspective implementation methodology, combining MB-PLE knowledge with the company’s Modeler, Library, Process Director, and Check modular tools. The integrated approach simplifies product line design, increases intra-family reuse, and improves both product quality and engineering productivity. Vantage is suitable for all product development and shifts system and software modeling to the design and engineering of whole product lines rather than individual systems.
