Chrysler Names New Head of Transmission Powertrain
Jeffrey Lux has been named by Chrysler Group LLC as Head of Transmission Powertrain, effective immediately. As part of Chrysler Group's Leadership Team, he is responsible for the design, development, and release of all transmission and driveline systems for the company. He also is responsible for supporting efforts to coordinate powertrain activities on a global basis. Lux joins Chrysler from General Motors Co., where he held a series of engineering positions with increasing responsibility since 1986. Most recently he served as Executive Director, Powertrain New Product Launch. Lux holds a master of business administration degree from Michigan State University, a master of science degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University.
