Chassis Mount Power Supplies
XP Power (Sunnyvale, CA) has announced the VCS series of chassis mount single output AC-DC power supplies aimed at cost sensitive industrial applications. The series comprises 50W, 70W and 100W models and are available with +5, +12, +15, +24 or +48 VDC outputs. A user accessible voltage trim control provides a +/- 10% adjustment of the output voltage allowing for the use of non-standard voltages or to compensate for cable losses. The VCS series accommodates the full universal input range from 90 — 264 VAC without derating, and can provide full output power from -10 degrees C to +50 degrees C without derating, and with derating to +70 degrees C. Start-up is from -20 degrees C.
The VCS series range meets the UL60950-1 / EN60950-1 safety specifications for IT, commercial and industrial equipment. In addition, the units comply with EN550022 level B standard for both conducted and radiated emissions without the need for additional filtering components.
