Disconnect Switch
The SureStart™ Low-Voltage Disconnect (LVD) Switch 48513 from Cole Hersee (South Boston, MA) electronically senses battery voltage and conserves starting power by disconnecting non-critical loads, prolonging battery life by preventing battery damage due to excessive discharge. The switch is used for utility vehicles and vehicles with ancillary onboard equipment. The switch has a rating of 100A at 12V or 24V DC. Its service life exceeds one million on/off cycles, and features a manual override that lets users connect or disconnect the switch when needed. It measures 4.5 × 4 × 4.27", and does not require a separate solenoid to control high current. It is resistant to moisture, salt spray, vibration, and shock.
