Newport Corp. (Irvine, CA) offers the HXP100 Hexapod 6 DOF, a parallel kinematic motion system that utilizes field-proven actuators. The coordinate system allows flexibility in programming complex motions. It is used for military/defense applications such as optical alignment and inspection.
