PXI Interface Modules
National Instruments (Austin, TX) has introduced AIM PXI interface modules for military and aerospace avionics applications as well as real-time and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) avionics solutions. They offer single-, dual-, and quadchannel MIL-STD-1553 interfaces; 8- and 32-channel ARINC 429 interfaces; and a dual-channel AFDX interface. Every module features an onboard application support processor, multiple bus interface unit processors, onboard memory, and an IRIG-B time code generator/decoder. They are compatible with NI LabVIEW, the NI LabVIEW Real-Time Module, NI LabWindows™/CVI, C, and C++.
