Radiation-Hardened ASICs
Aeroflex (Colorado Springs, CO) offers the UT130nHBD digital application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) that are radiationhardened from 100 krad to 300 krad(Si) total ionizing dose (TID), with up to 15,000,000 usable gates. Features include power dissipation of 15nW/MHz/gate at 1.2V, with toggle rates up to 5.0 GHz. The cell library includes support for Design for Test and Design for Manufacturability. Special I/O cores include HSTL, CML, LVDS, and PCI. Design support is in place for Mentor Graphics® and Synopsys™ in Verilog and VHDL design languages on Sun and Linux workstations.

The Digital RadHard ASICs are QML Q and V qualified for aerospace and defense applications. Toolkits for the ASICs are available, and are optimized for low-power operation and enhanced to meet radiation targets.
