Design Control

The latest release of the MapleSim toolbox from Maplesoft expands control design capabilities and supports parameterized controllers for improved flexibility. The MapleSim system modeling and simulation tool’s control design toolbox offers flexibility and analysis options through symbolic parameters. This release extends toolbox functionality with more control algorithms, options for automatically selecting the most suitable algorithm and parameter values, and improvements to existing features. The MapleSim toolbox now includes additional control algorithms that operate on a wider range of systems and the ability to construct closed-loop systems so users can create controllers with feedback. A more complete set of algorithms is available, including automatic tuning of the controller, and the toolbox provides automatic computation of design parameters. Improvements allow engineers to design more controllers and controller-observer systems.
