Vehicular Mobile Unit

Radwin adds to its FiberinMotion portfolio with the vehicular mobile unit (VMU) installed to enable high-speed video, voice, and data transmissions in vehicles. Delivering capacity of up to 50 Mbps to streamline operations, the rugged VMU supports vehicle speeds of up to 250 km/h (155 mph) and provides long range coverage of up to 10 km (6 mi). VMU includes a built-in Wi-Fi access point, GPS for vehicle tracking, and leverages Radwin’s air-interface, incorporating dynamic multiple-input/multiple-output diversity and bandwidth management to improve vehicle service level. VMU extends network reach to assets in motion and improves operations and security for a range of industries including mining, airports, police patrol units and security, oil and gas, ports, and bus rapid transit.
