DSC USB Calibration System
Morehouse (York, PA) has introduced a new DSC USB system with mini-netbook (load cell and case not included) for the calibration of load cells, testing machines, and other force or torque systems. The new system is direct reading according to ASTM-E74 and E2428, and fully USB powered, eliminating excess power cables. ASTM Class A lower limits are better than 2% when paired with Morehouse ultra-precision load cells. The system’s program is designed to use the coefficients from a calibration report and apply them to the “live” signal of the DSC unit, thereby eliminating the need for load tables. The end-user can read direct engineering units in LBF, KGF and Newtons.
