Multilayer Bandpass Filter
TDK Corporation of America (Irving, TX) has introduced the DEA102450BT-1278A1 multilayer bandpass filter in size 1005 with dimensions of 1.0 x 0.5 x 0.37 mm. The filter is designed for the 2.4 GHz band, and is suitable for Bluetooth and wireless LAN implementation in smartphones, regular cell phones, and other mobile devices. It features an insertion loss of 2.5 dB, and attenuation of at least 25 dB (at 4.8 GHz to 5.0 GHz). It offers a rated power as high as 27 dBm. Incorporating thin-layer and micro-wiring technology, the filter incorporates a low-loss conductive material for the resonator. It is rated for an operating temperature range of -40 to +85 °C.
