Bandpass Filters

The TFSB series of thin-film bandpass filters is available from TDK-EPC Corp. (Tokyo, Japan). The filters have a footprint of 1.0 × 0.5 square millimeters, and an insertion height of 0.3 mm. The filters feature terminal configuration on the bottom surface, and are designed for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, making them suitable for Bluetooth and WLAN applications. The filters achieve low-loss signal transmission and high attenuation of unwanted signals. They were developed using a thin-film micro-wiring technology, and have an operating temperature range from -40 to 85 ºC.
