Drive Test Scanner
Rohde & Schwarz (Columbia, MD) has developed a multi-functional universal radio network analyzer that provides drive testing. The R&S®TSMW drive test scanner supports Long Term Evolution (LTE) formats in communication bands, along with GSM, WCDMA, and CDMA2000®1xRTT/ 1xEVDO scanning.
The R&S®TSMW drive test scanner operates the following frequency bands in parallel: Band 2, 4, 5, and 13 (Verizon Wireless); 14 (Public Safety); 17 (AT&T); 24 (LightSquared); and 25 (Sprint- Nextel). The device offers band support ranging from 30 MHz to 6 GHz. Each signal with a bandwidth of up to 20 MHz can be scanned without limitation. The test scanner features an integrated GPS for positioning, but the function is not required for measurement synchronization.
