Coded Switch
Elma Electronic (Fremont, CA) offers a rugged version of its Type 07 line of coded switches. The M07A gray coded switch comes in 16 positions down to 2, and has a robust stainless-steel 6mm or 3mm tapped shaft. The switch meets MIL-STD-810F standards for salt fog /humidity and MIL-STD-202G specifications for shock/vibration. The M07A also features a reinforced plastic body and IP60 or IP68 front panel sealing. It is offered in THT or reflow versions, and with an end-stop design. Utilizing gold-plated contacts and a nickel-plated bushing, the switch performs a minimum of 10,000 rotational cycles. The device has up to 4 Ncm switching torque, and its operating temperature range is -40 to +85°C.
