Thermal Imaging Camera
Thermoteknix (Cambridge, UK) has introduced the Miricle 110K-25 thermal imaging camera that incorporates a 25- micron detector and 384 × 288 uncooled microbolometer focal plane array detectors. They are sensitive in the long-wavelength infrared (LWIR) 7-14μm band. The camera operates without thermoelectric stabilization and is available with shutterless Miricle XTi models for instant-on thermal imaging.
The camera is available with optional super-sensitivity mode, offering up to 10 to 35 mK NEDT for applications where small temperature differences or long-range detectivity are needed. The reduced pixel pitch enables lightweight optics to be used, and allows increased detection range for a given focal length. With a fully assembled weight of 85 g without the lens, the camera is suited for UAV and field-portable applications.
