LCD Interface Controller
The HE-1920 from Digital View, Morgan Hill, CA, is a buffered, multi-sync interface controller that provides analog and digital connections for large-format, high-definition FTF LCDs. It features wide operating temperatures and voltage ranges, as well as shock and vibration resistance, and conformal coating for harsh environments in military applications. Designed for hardened panel display systems, the controller features locking connectors, tantalum capacitors, Mil-Spec silicon resin conformal coatings, and a temperature range of -40 to 80°C.
PC, DVI, and video interface analog and digital connections are provided for a range of TFT LCD panels up to WUXGA resolution (1920 × 1200 pixels). Other features include full-screen image expansion of lower resolutions, image flip and invert, and onscreen PIP functions. It also features a 16-bit ITU 605 bus connector for creating proprietary hardware interfaces for the controller. The interfaces provide software-managed selection pins to manage multiple input configurations.
