California Eastern Laboratories (Santa Clara, CA) has released the uPG2430T6Z, a compact SP3T switch for applications up to 6 GHz. The switch is used for single- or dualband 802.11a,b,g,n Wi-Fi/WLAN + Bluetooth, cordless phones, mobile communication, and general shortrange communications applications up to 6 GHz using control voltages of 1.6V to 3.6V. The switch provides a combination of high-frequency operation, low insertion loss, high isolation, wide control voltage range, and compact packaging. Features include insertion loss of 0.55 dB at 2.5 GHz, and 0.65 dB at 6.0 GHz; and isolation of 28 dB at 2.5 GHz, and 25 dB at 6 GHz.
