Indranil Dandaroy, Ph.D., SIMULIA Industry Process Consulting Director, Dassault Systèmes

As Dassault Systèmes’ SIMULIA Industry Process Consulting Director for Bibroacoustics and Shock, Dr. Indranil Dandaroy leads pre-post technical sales and business development for the wave6 Americas field support team. He has nearly 30 years of industry and academic experience in the field of acoustics, vibration, and shock. Prior to joining Dassault, Indranil spent 15 years at Lockheed Martin as a Dynamics Technical Fellow where he extensively used wave6 on various spacecraft, satellite, and missile programs for design and verification. Before that, Indranil spent a decade in business aviation leading the acoustics group at Raytheon Aircraft (now Textron Aviation), designing quiet jets and turboprops. He also has served as adjunct faculty at various universities, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Indranil holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering in acoustics from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
