Right now, centerless grinding isn’t just refining parts — it’s redefining what’s possible. As MedTech and aerospace components get smaller, more complex, and harder to machine, engineers and supply chain teams are choosing grinding not at the end, but from the start. Why? Because no other process can consistently deliver micro diameters, thin walls, stepped diameters with zero runout, or sub-micron repeatability at scale. When you truly understand what makes it work, where it wins, and why it’s so hard to master, it becomes a competitive advantage.
In this 30-minute webinar, a second-generation grinding expert will pull back the curtain on a process that’s often underestimated and frequently misunderstood. The program will detail case studies and core strategies for solving challenges that leave others stuck. Whether designing a next-gen device or managing outsourced production, attendees will come away with a sharper understanding of where centerless grinding belongs in their manufacturing strategies and how to hit tighter tolerances with confidence.
This webinar will explore:
- What centerless grinding is as well as its many derivative modes
- How centerless grinding delivers precision, repeatability, and speed
- What makes centerless so complex, and how the best get it right
- Key applications including thin-wall hypotubes, corewire/guidewires, core pins, mandrels, and multi-diameter and non-round shafts
- What to look for in a grinding partner (hint: it’s not just equipment)
- Real case studies
An audience Q&A session will follow the technical presentation.
