Department of Defense Contracts Denied: New Cybersecurity Rules in 2025

SPONSORED BY:

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) became effective on December 16, 2024. Once the 48 CFR rule is completed, Department of Defense contracts will contain mandates for CMMC compliance. Companies without CMMC certification may lose DOD contracts after that publication.

A CMMC certification validates an organization’s compliance with the NIST SP 800-171r2 required 110 controls. Companies may need 12-18 months to become assessment ready. For larger companies with more complex structures, it can take up to two years. With some prime contractors already demanding compliance from their supply chain, those who have not yet started run the risk of falling well behind their certified competitors.

This 60-minute webinar explores how an assessor conducts a CMMC assessment, including the types of objective evidence they may request during the assessment. An audience Q&A session will follow the technical presentation. An audience Q&A session will follow the technical presentation.
